Thanks to friends, family and clients who came out and supported WGC’s Business Success Celebration event on Sunday, March 25, 4-6PM at Westport’s Beer Kitchen. WGC had 30+ attendees join the event and my business picked up the tab for the afternoon as a big “Thank You” to everyone who has consulted, supported, become a client and provided inspiration for me as an entrepreneur and business owner.
People who had talked about meeting one another in my network circle finally were able to meet one another face-to-face and socialize. From owners of corporate farming operations, branded promotional products, public library groups, specialty medical practices to executive career coaches, the afternoon event was intellectually engaging and conversationally stimulating! It was interesting to observe when my clients got together how easily the conversation flowed, cards were exchanged and great stories shared about working with WGC. Most of my extended network and clients are fellow entrepreneurs, which very much surprised me…a fact I should have realized, but it was nice to be reminded there is creative and business strength in entrepreneurial numbers.
